Hi Cat,
It’s true, it’s disappointing how much of farmers’ crops get sold without reaping the benefits of fair trade. What it suggests to me is that there is lots of room for us to pressure companies and institutions to source fair trade, especially products certified to strong standards from companies who are committed to fair trade principles, not just looking for the marketing benefit of a few products. Would be nice if you recommended sources or brands to purchase.
